On each visit to our site, our site requires a single cookie to be set on your computer, called a 'session cookie'. When you place an order with us or register on our site, you are assigned a Fairies & Friends account with your own login and password.
When you place an order with us we store your name, email address, password, marketing preference, phone number, company name, address, shipping address, your computer's IP address, order contents and details of any financial transactions.
When you register an account with us we store your name, email address, IP address, marketing preference and password.
When you click to share one of our Wishlists, we store your email address and a name for your wishlist, details of the products you have placed on the wishlist and a password so that you can access it again. We keep your email address private however, once shared, the contents of your wishlist are then publicly available along with any name you have entered. We also store any details of third parties you share with us, however it is not obligatory for you to share this information with us if you don't want to. When you enter email addresses of third parties into our system to send your wishlist to them, this is no different from if you had composed an email to them yourself, and it is your exclusive responsibility to ensure that you have their permission to email them.
Where you click on a Wishlist item to indicate you intend to buy it, we store your name, email address & IP address.
We consider these to be essential pieces of information to store to meet our legal obligations, and by placing an order with us or registering an account you are agreeing to this. We encrypt your connection to the website whenever you are transmitting information we consider sensitive. Your information is held on our servers securely, as well as - if also existing in hardcopy - being locked away securely on our premises.
Where you subscribe to our marketing materials, we store your email address in our MailChimp account, which is the product we use to deliver our newsletter. MailChimp are located in the United States of America.
Where you have opted to receive our marketing information, you can opt-out again at any time either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the foot of any of our marketing emails, or by logging into your account and clicing on the 'Profile' page. When you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our MailChimp account.
Where you have given us consent to provide you with marketing materials, we may contact you from time to time with details of special offers and promotions. We never sell your details to third parties.
We know you’ll be excited to receive your fabulous fairy things so we aim to get them to you as soon as possible. We will always endeavour to ship your order within two working days of receipt of your order and payment.

If you change your mind about your purchase for any reason, we will happily provide you with a refund or a replacement so long as the items are returned to us in their original condition and with their packaging. Send your item/s back to us, along with the returns form enclosed with your order, to Fairies and Friends (UK) Limited, 6 Highlands, Lower Tadmarton, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX15 5SR within 14 days for a full refund (excluding Post & Packing). Please make sure you get proof of postage and arrange adequate insurance to cover your returns, as we can’t be held responsible for returned parcels that go missing. We will always process your refund as quickly as possible but please allow up to 14 days from receipt for us to do this.
We take great pride in everything we do and are just as disappointed as you when things aren’t up to scratch. If you are in the European Union and you cancel your order within seven days after the day you get your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund your order, in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. You will have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us. Please make sure you get proof of postage and arrange adequate insurance to cover your returns.
In accordance with paragraph 3.49 of the Distance Selling Regulations where Gift Wrapping and/or Express Delivery were provided, these were done so under separate contract between us and notice is (and was at time of sale) given in our Terms and Conditions of both this and the ending of your cancellation rights for these.
To cancel your order, you must inform us in writing to our returns address. Please mark this clearly as 'DSR Cancellation Request', so that we can ensure it is dealt with efficiently.
Where you ordered gift wrapping and we have not yet started gift wrapping your item at the time you cancelled your order with us, this may be refunded, otherwise it cannot be.
Where you ordered express shipping and we have not yet arranged for your item to be express shipped at the time you cancelled your order with us, this may be refunded, otherwise it cannot be.
Where you ordered express shipping and we have already arranged for your item to be express shipped at the time you cancelled your order with us, we will instead refund the cost of standard delivery.
We will not be able to refund any post & packing charges if you only cancel part of your order.
If you are not in the European Union, we remain happy to accept returns, however you will need to pay for the return postage of the item back to us and the initial post and packing costs will not be refunded.
